Things to Know
*Registration will begin at 7:00 AM under Tournament Headquarters tent.
*Girls teams play 2 count 2.
*Boys teams play 2 count 2.
*Range Balls are available on the range.
*Scoring will take place behind the clubhouse after the completion of play.
*Trophies will be awarded to the top team and the low medalist. If there is a tie for low
medalist, the tie will be decided by regression from hole # 9. In case of a tie between teams, it will be a regression from hole #9.
*Boy player score and 2.
*Girl player’s and Boy player's will be the tie-breaker. If a tie still
remains, the lowest total scores of all players on hole # 9 will be declared the winner.
* All GHSA rules apply.
*USGA rules will be used unless superseded by a local rule.
*Range finders may be used. USGA approved only.
*Gold tees for boys and White tees for girls.
*Please play fast. Be ready to play when it is your turn. Coaches may cart groups that are
behind.
*Lunch will begin after first 9. Lunches will be available at the Tournament
Headquarters tent.
*Please remind your players to mark their golf balls for identification.
*Please remind players to throw trash in trash cans.
*Please remind players to repair all ball marks and rake all sand traps.
*Players should play a second ball if there is any question as to your rights in a rules situation.
*Players should score both balls and get a ruling upon completion of play.
*Players should play a provisional ball if they think a ball is lost or Out of Bounds.
*Players will exchange scorecards on first tee. Scores are official once they are signed and
attested by scorer and player and turned into the scorer’s table.
*All final rules questions will be handled by the rules committee, not tournament director.
*No throwing of clubs, use of loud profanity, or damaging to the course will be tolerated and
will result in disqualification.
*Parents and fans are permitted to walk on the cart paths only within view of the players. All
parents and fans must refrain from talking with, walking with, or giving advice to players.
Violation of this rule will result in disqualification.
*Carts may be purchased for use by spectators in the clubhouse
*Carts for spectators must remain on the cart path.
